The Hazel O'Connor Thread

The name may ring a bell (NOT to be confused with Sinéad O'Connor and NO, they aren't relatives) but this is one of my favorite artists. A really talented artist, interesting person and artist, great music, and she writes lyrics and music and even play synths herself. You may remember her from Breaking Glass movie, a cult film in the U.K. with an outstanding performance. I recommend it. Here's some Hazel for you:

And yes, Eighth Day is the shit, and the video is from the movie Breaking Glass. Hazel starred in that movie and wrote all the soundtrack, music and lyrics, all by herself for that movie. Well it's true anyway Hazel is fantastic from what I've seen, really getting into her catalogue now but I love Eighth Day, its a very deep look into man kinds behaviour.

Yeah, Hazel's fantastic. She should be more famous around the world. What I loved more about Eighth Day was the lyrics, the message Hazel conveys through that song. It's so true. And Breaking Glass is a hell of an album. It's incredible as well as the movie.
