Re: The Nina Hagen Thread
Nina Hagen is one of my most favorite artists. She's really unique, has an incredibly amazing voice that she uses it however she wants and has really interesting music. Very different to what one is used to hear. And she must be really great live. I mean, she's an amazing showwoman. Those faces she pulls sometimes, her voice, her banter with the audience, and she seems good-hearted. LOVE LOVE LOVE NINA!!!
And this one is priceless especially because from 0:07 up to 0:39, hehehe.

At least you can get them in NZ even if it's hard. Here in Costa Rica I've never seen any Nina CD's AT ALL. The few originals I have from her I've had to get them from Amazon. BTW, I have many Nina Hagen albums if you're interested. At some point I will upload Nina's music in my blog.

I used to have 14 Friendly Abductions CD. That was my introduction to her music as I only knew New York New York. Great way to start with her music. When you listen to that CD, you can't help feeling curious how her studio albums sound like.

Exactly! It was the same with The B-52's. I brought their Time Capsule (GH) a few years back then after getting into each song I was like "I must hear their albums!" So I brought them and love each and every one of them.
I'll probably get Nunsexmonkrock first
Re: The Nina Hagen Thread
That would be really funny, you know what? Because Nunsexmonkrock was the first Nina Hagen studio album I bought. Instantly fell in love with it.

I have only heard clips at Amazon and then a few months ago I listened with my bf Nina IV President in Youtube, and the music from that album doesn't call much my attention. It's like pop rap thing from early 90's sound. But the album cover is great, I give that.

Yes, she can do really amazing stuff with her voice. It's the most versatile voice I've ever heard. And I love the craziness about her.
